The brief
The veteran support system is real but unfindable, buried in government jargon. A vet in distress shouldn’t have to navigate menus. The brief: make entitlements findable, documents storable, and crisis help instant.
The approach
Designed and built a native app with a 7-step Gold Card journey tracker, an on-device documents drawer with one-tap PDF export, and a Crisis tile pinned to the top of every key screen. A “Plain Talk” toggle rewrites the whole interface into shorter, simpler language.
